A new music ensemble for the 21st Century, the [Switch~ Ensemble] is dedicated to the creation of new works for chamber ensemble: we bring bold new acoustic, electroacoustic, and multimedia projects to life.

[Switch~ Ensemble] returns to UC San Diego to perform an evening of WORLD PREMIERE works by Peter Gilbert and professor Karola Obermueller and graduate student composers including: Daniel Cui, Emily Barger, Ana Luisa Diaz de Cassio, Carlos Felipe Rosas, and Lorraine Gregório de Oliveira (Lola). The program will also feature "soliloquios del viento" by [Switch~ Ensemble] artistic director Jason Thorpe Buchanan.
