Stretching In / Stretching Out: Music for Trombone and Bass in Two Cities

For 19 years, composer-improvisers Mark Dresser and Michael Dessen have been dedicated to a practice of live performance in multiple locations via the internet. This night's concert, with performers and audiences at both UC San Diego and UC Irvine, features original works in celebration of an upcoming duo recording, as well as a new intermedia piece in collaboration with artist Mariángeles Soto-Díaz.
