Panta rhei is a Greek phrase meaning "everything flows," summarizing the philosophy of Heraclitus, who taught that the universe is in constant change, like a river you can't step into twice. Panta Rhei emphasizes flux, transformation, and impermanence as the fundamental nature of reality. 

This concert will feature the recent compositions of David Borgo and compositions by other members of the ensemble, all designed to inspire individual and collective improvisation.

The Panta Rhei ensemble includes David Borgo on saxophones, Victor Baker on electric guitar, Tobin Chodos on piano, Doug Walker on bass, and Kevin Higuchi on drum set.
